The Ākarana Falcons

We are a premier rugby league franchise based in Auckland, New Zealand,

representing the Ākarana Zone—a regional body of New Zealand Rugby League (NZRL) established in 2010. We are dedicated to promoting, fostering, and developing rugby league across Auckland's central, western, and North Shore suburbs.

Our mission is to strengthen communities through rugby league by providing pathways from grassroots participation to national representation. We are committed to inclusivity, excellence, and the holistic development of our players, coaches, and volunteers.

We have a rich history of success, including multiple national titles and a strong presence in both men's and women's competitions. In 2022, our men's team clinched the NZRL National 20s Championship, while our women's team secured the Sky Sport National Women's Premiership title in 2024. 
 

We are proud of our diverse and passionate community, which includes players, coaches, volunteers, and supporters who embody the spirit of dedication, resilience, and pride. Together, we continue to build a legacy of excellence and community spirit.
